Upgrade service for non patched scalars

In some circumstances it was noted that a slight vertical wave can appear in high colour displays through the SCART input. So far only 5-10% of users have been affected but we wanted to fix and continue using the existing SCALAR boards.
We have now worked out the cause and it was a very slightly unstable 3.3v supply to the TruView chip not picked up during our testing.
If you look at the picture you will see a red border with a small blue patch board, this is the fix that updates all existing boards. If you have this small blue patch board then you do not need to upgrade.
If you want to upgrade here is the process.
If you leave the GBS control board connected to the Scalar I will fit to new Scalar, if not I will assume you have the original and will send without a GBS.
Please note we do not have a lot of boards and so we upgrade them in batches, which means more will become available as we go through them.
When you return, ensure you mark £10 value and "Return for Repair" please.
1. Direct with us.
Place an order for this item and pay for it, the £10 is to pay for Tiffany to modify the boards and support her. This will hold a board in your name for 14 days, plenty of time for you to ship yours. If you do not, and we cannot contact you I will refund the money and make available for somebody else.
The shipping depends on your country.
Once you have paid we will email you the shipping address to send too or it will be on the invoice once paid, you MUST send your scalar with a printed copy of the invoice, or if you have no printer then write your name, address and the order number of the invoice on a sheet of paper and put in the box.
No identification means you do NOT get a Scalar back, because how will we know who it is. I say this because people do this !!
Package the scalar well and send to the address we will email once you have paid.
You can send the whole Scalar Pod with frame if you prefer and we will assemble and test it before returning it.
Do not send the whole monitor or you will have to pay any extra shipping charge.
2. If in Europe
Contact Michael at DragonBox.de, follow the same procedure but this will save us all shipping and import costs.
3. If USA or Australia etc.
This gets more expensive, so I suggest you join our Discord, ask there if others in your country are sending them and work together if possible.
If not then just follow the above steps.
Sorry to go through this but we wanted to send the scalar first but when we did with the first batch only half the people returned them and we would quickly run out them.
