QuickRecord   by Ian Gledhill (ian.gledhill@btinternet.com)
===========

Note this program needs a hefty stacksize! Running using the icons should
be fine though!

V1.2	12/10/2010
====

* Added status bar.
* Added AIFF saving. Set the suffix to AIFF and 44KHz 16bit AIFF appears!
* Fixed crash when quitting while recording.

V1.1	11/10/2010
====

Lots of changes...
* Now uses MP3 internally. No need for LAME frontend!
* Monitor added.
* Selectable input.
* Saveable settings.
* Other stuff.

V1.0  08/10/2010
====

The first version! To use:
Type in the name of your file-to-be, or use the requester. For a WAV file, end the filename with ".WAV". For an MP3 file, end the filename with ".MP3". Also, you'll need "lame" in your path.
Click "Record".
When you've recorded enough, press "Stop".
If you're outputting to a WAV or MP3, there will be a short delay (WAV) or a long delay (MP3) while the file is created.
Press "Quit" to quit the program.

To play a RAW file, use the filerequester or type the filename of the RAW file to play and press "Play"!
**DON'T** try and play MP3 files. Playing WAV will work with funny bits at the beginning as it's playing it RAW, and it expects 44,100 16-bit signed format.

Todo:

Lots.
Particularly different sample formats, progress bars etc.

This program is commissioned by Stephen "ClusterUK" Jones, and thanks to Davy Wentzler for his pointers in AHI, despite the fact that this program means people don't have to use AE4 now to record in AROS. :)
